Rock Chicken Artistes & Media was set up by Ellie Hopton who since her late teens has amassed a wealth of experience in music journalism, entertainment promotion, band PR as well as all aspects of print and media from feature writing, sub editing to design and marketing.

Ellie has worked on regional and national titles, student press, fan club offices and in the press and promotions department of Wembley Arena and various smaller music venues in London including Hammersmith Apollo where she worked in backstage hospitality.

Her entertainment agency - a play on the ‘rock chick’ mantle she has carried since her teens - came about following a frustrating search for a reputable tribute band she wanted to hire for a fundraising

event. Having contacted no less than 17 national and supposedly well known entertainment agencies across the UK, other than receiving automated email replies, not one followed this up which seemed unbelievable!

Ellie quickly saw a gap in the market for a well run and efficient company and Rock Chicken Artistes and Media was formed, a combined entertainment print and media company which perfectly complements the service offered to music venues, theatres, weddings and the corporate market.
